Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Duties: - Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders - Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals - Provide speech therapy services to patients of all ages, including children and adults - Administer standardized tests and assessments to measure speech and language abilities - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication skills - Document patient evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely Skills: - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and speech-language pathology principles - Proficient in case management and treatment planning - Experience in providing speech therapy services in various settings, including hospitals, critical care units (ICU), and pediatrics - Ability to assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Empathy and patience to work with individuals with communication difficulties - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Requirements: - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist - CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) - Prior experience working with diverse patient populations is preferred Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
